Proposal
G1 - Leylandii x 6 - Large outgrown Leylandi growing beneath and amongst canopies of more desirable Cedar trees. Fell and removed to ground level, to reduce further risk and pressure to retaining wall, this in turn will help clear the canopies of the Cedars. T1- Cedar - The crown cleaning of mature Cedars, by removing all dead wood and fractured damage branching. This will include a selective reduction on over extended branching to relieve end weight where necessary by up to 1.5m. Thin up to 10% T2 - Cedar - Reduction from neighbouring property by 2.5m this includes no height reduction just lateral branching over neighbouring garden to reduce spread T3 - Poplar - The semi mature Poplar standing in the corner of property, growing tight to brick wall, Fell to reduce the risk to wall and neighbouring property. T4 Leylandii - Fell tight to boundary wall T5 - Leylandii - Single tall tree standing by gable end of neighbouring building. This is to be reduced back from property to give a minimum of 1m clearance, and a light reduction on top growth to balance. Reduce height by 3m T6 - Leylandii - Single tall tree standing by gable end of neighbouring building. This is to be reduced back from property to give a minimum of 1m clearance and a light reduction on top growth to balance. T7 - Sycamore - Large Sycamore over woodland bed and close to neighbouring property, this is having major dead wood removed throughout to reduce risk of failing branches

The process from here
Permission has been granted, usually subject to conditions listed on the decision notice, some of which must be discharged before work starts. The decision notice on the council portal sets out exactly what was approved.
Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses. Neighbours cannot appeal a grant; challenging one means judicial review of how the decision was made, within tight time limits.
About trees applications
How this application type works
Tree applications cover work to protected trees: those under a tree preservation order need consent for pruning or felling, and trees in a conservation area need six weeks written notice before work starts. The council assesses the amenity value of the tree and can refuse consent, approve it with conditions, or in conservation areas make a preservation order in response.

The proposal relates to the demolition and rebuilding of an existing rear garden wall within the curtilage of Lansdowne House. The wall measures approximately 43 metres in length, 2.4 metres in height, and is of 225mm thick brick construction. The wall is currently in a condition of significant structural instability, having developed a pronounced outward lean towards an adjacent footpath. A structural engineer (CEng MIStructE) has confirmed that in places the wall's centre of gravity lies outside safe limits and that it is at risk of imminent outward collapse. The wall borders a pedestrian route serving the rear of neighbouring properties (1-5 The Cedars). The proposal seeks to demolish the structurally unsound wall and rebuild it to match the existing in height, alignment, materials and appearance, using appropriate traditional construction methods.
