T1 Robinia - Fell to ground level. Reasons for works - The tree is located in very close proximity to a garage and greenhouse. This area of the garden has been disused for some years, but the property owner has plans to make the greenhouse a working part of the garden again. The tree has now become unsuitable for its location, as it provides significant shade to the greenhouse below. Due to its location, the options for pruning to provide adequate light below are limited. The property owner has indicated that they are already carrying out replanting in other parts of the garden and are happy to continue doing so to mitigate the loss of the tree. T2 Sycamore - Crown Lift by removing branch tips to provide 4.5 metres clearance above ground level and reduce the low, large limb over the flower bed extending towards the house by up to 2 metres to improve light to the flower bed below.

T1 - Sycamore T2 - Ash T3 - Robinia T4 - Lime T5 - Horse Chestnut T6 - Group/line of Yews T7 - Lime T8 - Horse Chestnut T9 - Leyland Cypress T10 - Sycamore T11 - Sycamore T12 - Cherry The trees described in this notice are in the garden of Churchview House or overhang this garden from two adjacent gardens. The adjacent properties are: The Old Vicarage, Priest End, Thame OX9 3AB and Lashlake House, Aylesbury Road, Thame, OX9 3AU. The attached sketch plan shows this. All of the trees are easily viewed from the gardens of Churchview House. T1 - Sycamore - Install Cobra cable brace to support weak stem union. T2 - Ash - Reduce the large limb growing toward and over T1 by around 50% to the secondary branch originating at around 5 metres in order to improve form of tree and allow better space for T1. T3 - Robinia - Crown lift to 5 metres and thin by 15-20% to improve form of tree and to allow more light to penetrate to garden area. T4 - Lime - Raise crown to around 6 metres over Churchview House garden and lane including the removal of 3 large basal suckers. To improve form of tree and allow more light to garden. T5 - Horse Chestnut - Crown lift to 6 metres over Churchview garden to improve garden. T6 - Group/line of Yews - Tip reduce the overhang to Churchview garden by around 1 metre and remove the tree that leans across the drainage ditch towards/over Churchview garden to improve light to Churchview. T7 - Lime - Crown lift to 6 metres to improve form of tree and light to Churchview. T8 - Horse Chestnut - Pollard at around 4 metres to create monolith. This tree has very extensive basal decay and a marked lean. It has been previously pollarded but is in poor condition with low vigour. It does however have significant habitat value. T9 - Leyland Cypress - Several trees forming a screen. Height to be reduced to around 5 metres so they continue to provide screening without becoming too dominant. T10 - Sycamore - Crown lift to 6 metres to provide better view across river meadows and more light to Churchview. T11 - Sycamore - Crown lift to 6 metres and reduce mid crown lateral limb extended towards T10 by about 1.5 metres to improve light levels to Churchview. T12 - Cherry - Crown reduce by around 15% to reduce overall height and spread by 0.5-1 metre to improve shape and balance of tree. Remarks:
