Proposal

T1 – Silver Birch (larger tree) Reduce the overall crown by approximately 2 metres in height and lateral spread, pruning back to suitable secondary growth points and retaining a balanced, natural crown form. Selectively thin internal growth where appropriate to improve light penetration towards the property. Remove major deadwood together with crossing, rubbing or poorly positioned branches. The works are proposed as routine arboricultural management to control the overall size and spread of the crown, improve its structural form and maintain an appropriate relationship between the tree and the adjacent property. T2 – Silver Birch (smaller tree) Selectively reduce areas of the crown by approximately 1–2 metres, where required, to rebalance the canopy and create a more even, compact and naturally rounded crown profile. Pruning will be undertaken back to suitable growth points while retaining appropriate live crown and overall tree form. The works are intended to correct the current imbalance within the crown, maintain the tree at an appropriate size for its location and improve its overall form and appearance. All works to be undertaken in accordance with BS3998:2010 – Tree Work – Recommendations.
