Playground well within the fall radius of the tree. Replacement replanting not recommended due to potential for Kretzsch to persist in any remaining roots and colonise new planting. - Mature ash tree, shown as T22 on the TCP. Request to remove the tree. Stump to be retained or ground out at discretion of the client. Reasons for removal: crown with advanced decline and 25-50% remaining, likely ash dieback.Significant stem base dysfunction (unknown rot type and cause) to the north, bark and cambium loss north to 2m and flaking plates of bark around to the east. Action needed due to proximity to Mapperley road and footpath.Replacement replanting not recommended due to density of trees in this area, but left to the discretion of the council.

It needs reducing by 2 thirds as it is so tall and prominent that it interferes with growth and health of our Laburnum Tree which rarely flowers because of space the Holly tree takes up. It also blocks some of the light coming into our South facing garden. The Cherry tree is located by the privet hedge bordering with our neighbour. It needs reducing because its branches are too close a window which will cause problems in the very near future. By next year, the branches will be touching a first floor bay window. There is a similar problem with the branches overhanging our conservatory too. We would like to retain the shape of the tree but it does need reducing by 2 thirds to restrict the impact it is having.
