1no. Oak (located at front of property) - Crown lift to 3.5m, keeping pruning cuts to 50mm. To let more light into the property and to limit issues going forward with road and pathway clearance. 1no. Oak (located in rear garden) - Crown lift to 3.5m, keeping pruning cuts to below 50mm. To gain more light into the property and to maintain the trees aesthetics . 1no. Birch - Reduce lateral limbs towards property by 1.5m. Keeping pruning cuts to 30mm. To keep the trees aesthetics from potentially touching/damaging the property in the future.

T1: Copper beech. Fell. The tree is exhibiting extensive colonisation by Meripilus giganteum, with fungal brackets all over the root plate. There are also juvenile Armillaria mellea brackets in this area and there is significant leaf loss and poor canopy development to the south aspect of the tree. Overall, the tree sits within an exceptionally high target area, and the effects of this pathogen on beech are much researched: it is parasitic, and attributed to white rot in general, but also simultaneous soft rot. It decays structural roots and buttresses, and is attributed to wind throw of trees. Although a high amenity tree, its retention cannot be justified in conjunction with the proximity to the property.

1no. Corylus (Hazel),1no. Crataegus (Hawthorn) & 1no. Oak - To prune back approx. 2-3m back from fence. To provide and maintain a 1m clearance from the fence line surrounding the site compound. The trees are currently overhanging into the compound area, and the works are required to ensure safe access, facilitate operational activities, and address health and safety considerations within the site.

1no. Silver Birch (T1) - Fell to ground level due to poor physiological state of the tree which has been occurring over the last four years. There is no reasonable reduction of the crown possible that would prolong the life of the tree as tree is unlikely to respond well to pruning. Replant with another Birch.

1no. Oak (T1, originating from no. 24 Thornbury Wood, SO53 5DQ) - Reduce lateral limbs extending over garden and towards property by approx. 2.5m to even up the tree and provide a natural and balanced shape. Majority of branches are to the Southeast side of tree. Pruning will be carried out back to natural growth points to improve light levels within garden and minimise overhang towards house, while preserving the tree's overall form and health.
