Provide an operational 1,200m2 airside hard standing compound to support aircraft catering activities and improve the efficiency, resilience and security of catering operations serving Edinburgh Airport. Improve the security of aircraft catering operations by locating meal storage facilities within the airside environment. Improve the operational efficiency of Gate Gourmet's operation through reduced vehicle movements on both Edinburgh Airport and public road networks. Reduce the risk of aircraft catering delivery delays, supporting on-time aircraft departures. Support the continued growth of airline operations at Edinburgh Airport.
