Condition 3 - Requirements regarding breathable roof membrane Discharged on 11.08.23. Material used as approved; namely Tyvek Supro roof rile underlay. Condition 4 - Requirements regarding any use of roof insulation; None used during works. Condition 5 - Requirements regarding repairs to structural roof timbers; Correspondence took place between applicant, Anna Shah and Joanna Horton on 04.11.24 regarding approval to replacement of all batons. The correspondence clarified that this condition relates to structural timbers; none of which were affected with these roof works. Condition 6 - Requirements regarding structural works to chimney; The chimney was fully repointed but no structural works were undertaken. Photographs are available. Condition 7 - Requirement to reuse existing roof tiles where possible; This was observed, but not more than 30 tiles could be salvaged and re-used. The existing tiles had become friable and easily broke on handling. Condition 8 - Approval mechanism for new roof and ridge tiles; Discharged on 11.08.23. The project used new hand-made Sahtas Brown clay tiles plus ridge tiles all bedded with a 3-1 lime mortar mix. Ridge and valley detailed maintained existing undulations.
