The proposed works are limited to the outer extremities of the two overextended limbs and are not intended to alter the overall size, appearance or health of the tree beyond improving branch loading and reducing the risk of future limb failure.

Reduce the height of the crown by up to 6m, leaving a final height of approximately 9m, pruning back to suitable growth points where appropriate. The final extent of pruning will be determined following closer inspection of the cavity during the climbing operation.
