Works: Trees
Still open. Anyone can comment while the consultation period runs, and comments go to the council rather than to us.
Proposal
The tree is a willow tree in the garden of the cottage. It is already leaning and in danger of falling down. It has now lost both of its major limbs, one broke off at 2m ESE from the trunk and more recently one form the trunk at 1m W over hanging neighbour's garden damaging a small apple tree. On inspection (qualified arborist) detects decay in the bole of the tree so due to its recent history of branch failure and condition meaning danger of the tree falling emergency work is required to fell and replant in due course with a more suitable tree for the small garden area, possibly one of the small acers. Photographic support to follow by post.
