Proposal
The application is for one tree which is a sycamore. It is the only tree in the garden at 37A (Basement) Edbrooke Road and is located in the south east corner of the garden immediately next to the boundary wall with Edbrooke Road Gardens. The tree was last cut back in 2014 and has clearly grown a great deal in the period since. It now covers an unreasonably large area of the garden. The application is to crown reduce (by approx 2m) and lift (to min 2.5m above ground) to the previous, most recent reduction points, retaining shortened furnishing growth and at least 50% of fine branch structure to maintain crown continuity.

T1 Betula jacquemontii- Fell- This tree has out grown its position in the small herbacious border and garden, it is blocking light and the roots are suppressing the growth of other ornamental shrubs and trees- The owner would like to remove it before it gets any larger- a poor choice for such a small garden, also blocking the view in to Green park. T2 Prunus sp.- Fell As above , in addition the trees lower branches have been removed and now has impaired form, is being suppressed by the London Plane tree and it has very few blossoms in the spring. If nessessary the tree owner would be prepared to replace the two trees with a more suitable tree
