Proposal

Repair, maintenance and like-for-like renewal of defective building fabric, together with the removal of later non-original internal elements and renewal of services using existing routes. Externally, works are limited to essential like-for-like repairs to the building envelope, including roof coverings, render, stucco, brickwork, flashings and rainwater goods. Internally, original features are retained and refurbished, with works limited to the removal of non-original fittings and finishes and associated making good. No works are proposed which alter the character or appearance of the listed building or its features of special architectural or historic interest. The proposed works are limited to the repair, maintenance and like-for-like renewal of defective building fabric, together with the removal of later non-original elements of no heritage significance and the renewal of services using existing routes. All original features of architectural or historic interest are retained and refurbished. The works do not involve any alteration to the character or appearance of the listed building, nor any change to its plan form, structure or significant historic fabric. External works are confined to essential like-for-like repairs using appropriate traditional materials and techniques. Internal works are limited to the removal of non-original fittings and finishes, with associated making good to match existing. The works therefore do not affect the character of the listed building as a building of special architectural or historic interest and do not require Listed Building Consent.
