The works do not involve any alteration to the character or appearance of the listed building, nor any change to its plan form, structure or significant historic fabric. External works are confined to essential like-for-like repairs using appropriate traditional materials and techniques. Internal works are limited to the removal of non-original fittings and finishes, with associated making good to match existing. The works therefore do not affect the character of the listed building as a building of special architectural or historic interest and do not require Listed Building Consent.
