Very large English Oak tree situated approx. 10m from the rear of the property. Crown height 16-18m, Crown spread 14-16m. This tree has a very large expensive canopy covering the majority of the rear garden. I would suggest due to the size and location an overall crown reduction of approx. 2m to form a more compact crown to allow more light to penetrate. At the same time crown thin to remove rubbing and crossing branches no larger than 50mm diameter to allow more light to penetrate the crown and garden. To remove all dead and dying wood and stumps. Finally to crown lift all round to 5m.

T2 - Oak (Quercus robur): approximately 20m in height with a crown spread of 15m. - Selectively reduce the lowest eastern crown sector over the roof by up to 1.5m. - Undertake a selective crown lift to approximately 5m above ground level. - Selectively reduce the south western crown sector by up to 1.5m to provide approx clearance of 1-1.5m from the neighbouring roof at No. 23 - final finish cuts to good growth points. - Remove epicormic growth from the stem.
