Remove lowest limb at union with main stem T3 conifer - Crown lift to 3.5 metres above ground level T4 sycamore - crown extends over building on northern side - shorten back canopy growth extending over the building to provide 3 metres clearance above the ridge of the building and shorten back over extended branches to balance with the southern side of the tree's crown resulting in a more upright form T5 - ash - triple stemmed. Remove third stem with basal bark wound on edge of gravel path (west) T6 - field maple - heavily ivy clad - Fell T6a - grey alder - forked at 1.8 metres an excessively slender - fell to this the spinney T7 - cherry - slender suppressed tree in under-thinned spinney - Fell T8 oak - twin-stemmed branch on south side - cut back secondary branch arising at 8m and tertiary branch at approx. 10 metres back, both to the parent branches T9, T10 - silver birch, T11 - whitebeam, T12 - goat willow - Fell to thin under-thinned spinney T13 and T14a - cherry - Fell due to poor form T14b - cherry near arch - reduce height of the secondary upright stem by 3 metres to render the competing stem subservient. T15a - sweet chestnut - crown lift to provide 4 metres ground clearance T15b - field maple - fell to thin spinney T17 - maple Triple-stemmed tree - remove two stems retaining a single, dominant stem T18 - maple - selectively thin crown by 25% T19 - field maple - Fell to thin spinney T20 - ash - fell to thin spinney T20a - ash - fell to thin spinney T21 - field maple - no works proposed T22 - oak - fell due to poor, spreading form rendering the tree liable to future limb failures T23 - field maple - fell due to poor form and low light levels in this part of the garden T24 - conifer hedge to face up from ground level to full height
