  T1 - Apple tree In the recent storm in the early hours of Wednesday 13 September 2017 an apple tree on my property was blown down. There is no damage to property, but has snapped approximately 1.5m up the trunk and requires removal. As my property is in a conservation area and the tree falls under the restriction laid out by the SODC regarding pruning, please can you provide advice on the steps I need to take to remove the tree such that I do not accidentally contravene any regulations imposed in the area I live and become open to penalties. I am looking to remove the tree asap such that no further damage is caused to the underlying ground. I would appreciate if you could please reply with the appropriate advice such that I can take appropriate action and safely remove the tree. Remarks:
