Proposal
G1 - 6 x Plum G2 - 12 x Hawthorn Until about 20 years ago there were no trees here at all. The current owner then planted deciduous hedging plants about 20 years ago. The majority of these hedging plants, which had been maintained as a hedge by the owners, were then removed about 8 years later and replaced with evergreen plants. Whatever was left of the deciduous hedging was then left to bolt and so became the trees, the subject of this application. There are in total about six plum (wild red and yellow types) and twelve hawthorns although at this time of year it is difficult to identify this because the trees are bare, all look alike and they are of varying heights and very interwined. (total approx 18 trees). The work is to cut back the parts of these trees which overhang the boundary into Mill House property. The boundary line runs approximately east/west and so forms a northern boundary of Mill Farm and the southern boundary of Mill House. Remarks: Spec:

T1 - Ash tree. This tree is not majorly unstable so would not warrant urgent attention. It does have ash dieback, and we have quoted to remove it. T2 - Unstable Ash tree at the base, it also shows early signs of ash die back. We are asking permission to fell to ground level. G1 - Two Cracked Willows that back on to a field owned by the village and I believe is public land. We are asking to re-pollard both at 10ft.
