Proposal
T1 - Cherry T2 - Horse Chestnut T3 - Yew T4 - Sycamore T5 - Beech T1 - Cherry - lift crown to a height of 3m above ground level by removing branch tips only - where it overhangs the public footpath. Lift to enable clear access for pedestrians. T2 - Horse Chestnut - fell to ground level and treat stump to prevent regrowth. This is a young self set tree which is growing in an inappropriate place. As it matures, it will be in direct conflict with the property in terms of overhanging branches and shade cast. T3 - Yew - fell to ground level. This is a small tree which is growing in an inappropiate location, too close to the house and in conflict with the use of the rear garden. T4 - Sycamore - A self set unattractive tree on the boundary. T5 - Beech - there are 4 stems of beech in a row, most liekly a lapsed hedgeline planting. The third tree in is suppressed and of poor form. Its removal will assist the development of the better, adjacent trees. Remarks:

T1 - Yew T1 - Yew - fell to ground level. The tree has been identified by a Structural Surveyor as being responsible for structural movement to the adjacent building (which is within 1 metre away from the tree). In order to repair and renovate this structure, underpinnng and ground floor excavation will have to take place which will result in a large proportion of root severance. Whilst the tree is of a conserable size, it is not highly visible wtihin the surrounding area and does not contribute significantly to the visual amenities of the Conservation Area. Only a glimpse of it is possible as you walk along the footpath of Reading Road - and even then, you have to be looking directly into the grounds of the property to actually see the tree. The site is very well treed and its removal will not be leaving th egarden or surrounding area devoid of tree cover. The owners will be carrying out significant landscaping of the garden and will be planting more trees to mitigate for its removal. Remarks:
