T3 - Silver Birch T11, T12, T13, T14 - Scots Pine T3 - Silver Birch - twin stem tree with included bark. We have considered fitting a brace, but have been advised it would confirm we acknowledge there is a weakness in the tree which may bring into question the liability for damage in the event it falls. With south westerly prevailing winds the most likely direction of fall for this tree if it did go would be onto the neighbour's outbuilding and/or conservatory. I have concluded therefore, reluctantly, that this tree should be felled. T11, 12, 13, 14 - Scots Pine - the remaining 4 of 17 or more originally planted on edge of orchard. Pines now shade out fruit trees - one plum tree has died back considerably. Tree T14 has a split stem about half way up. Intention T11, T12 & T13 - lift canopy to 5m above ground. T14 - fell to ground. Remarks:

T1 - Silver Birch T2 - Cherry Plum T3 - Silver Birch T4 - Copper Beech T5 - Robinia T6 - Robinia T7 - Lombardy Poplar T8 - Willow T9 - Silver Birch T10 - Walnut T11, 12, 13, 14 - Scots Pine T15 - Walnut T1 - Silver Birch - very close to the house and by the main village road this ill placed tree is now oversized for its location. High sided vehicles catch it in passing, especially the regular milk tanker. Year on year the autumn leaf causes blocked gutters on the house and slippery leaf debris on the road and pavement. Autumn leaf and winter stick debris on the road risk blocking drains. The tree leans towards the road, recently during Storm Brian the lean became worse and some ground heave was noted. Risk of falling onto road? Intention: Fell to ground level. T2 - Cherry Plum - this very old tree has been dying back bit by bit over the years. Branches grow out into the neighbours parking area causing scratch damage to his vehicles. Intention: fell to ground level. T3 - Silver Birch - Lower branches catch the neighbours shed roof risking damage, some gutter blockage caused. Tree shades neighbours garden. Intention: crown clean to remove dead and crossing branches, thin crown 25% to allow light for neighbour, and raise crown to 5m to clear neighbours shed. T4 - Copper Beech - oversized for its location. Taking light from neighbour's garden in summer. Overcrowding neighbouring ash and yew. Intention: crown clean and reduction to about 40ft height - where stem splits and crown is restricted by neighbouring ash tree. T5 - Robinia - oversized for location, risk of damaging fence. Intention: crown clean to remove and dead and crossing branches, crown reduction to 25ft. T6 - Robinia - oversized for location, damagig fence and neighbours shed roof. Multi-stemmed - one stem has already broken fence panel and post. Intention: remove stem damaging fence, crown clean to remove dead and crossing branchs, crown reduction to 25 ft and remove branches affecting shed. T7 - Lombardy Poplar - growing through pub car park tarmac from root of tree originally in our garden and felled 14 years ago approx. Tree damages car park surface, stems pushing fence panels over, leaf and stick fall affects parking area, trunk reduces parking space. Intention: fell to ground level. T8 - Willow - large old tree reaching end of natural life. Oversized for its position. Rot in some limbs. Cracks appearing in limbs and risk of limbs/branches splitting and falling. Intention: fell to ground. T9 - Silver Birch - tall tree exposed to prevailing wind. Damaged by falling tree in storm in 2002. Leans, and ground heave now evident during strong winds. Intention: fell to ground. T10 - Walnut - large tree on edge of orchard now overcrowding and shading fruit trees. Intention: remove one limb to balance tree, crown clean to remove dead and crossing branches, crown reduction to about 40 ft, lift canopy above shed roof. T11, 12, 13, & 14 - Scots Pine - the remaining 4 of 17 or more originally planted on edge of orchard. Pines now shade out fruit trees - one plum tree has died back considerably - and compete for space with walnut trees. Intention: retain T12, Fell tree 11, 13 and 14. T15 - Walnut - large tree on edge of orchard and boundary with neighbours garden. Overcrowding and shading fruit trees. Lower branches interfere with neighbours shed roofs and trees. Intention: raise canopy to clear neighbour's sheds, crown clean to remove dead branches, crown reduction to about 40 ft to reduce shading of fruit trees. Remarks:
