T1 - Sweet Chestnut - 30% canopy reduction. Reason for works - the tre is located within very close proximity to the property, the canopy is also heavily weighted towards buildings. T2 - Oak - reduce large scaffold limbs by 2m, in order to prevent breakout over buildings. T3 - Beech - cut back beech overhanging shed and driveway by 2m. In addition, the owner of the property is experiencing vermin issues in the roof (squirrels). The pest control officer has suggested the tree works would reduce/prevent this issue. Peak tree to be lopped by 7m, neighboured tree to be reduced by 4m. The tree identified by EE Ltd is severely affecting the transmission of telecoms site 93310. This EE Ltd site forms part of the Emergency Services Network which is vital for police, ambulance and rescue communication etc for the surrounding area. I have sought the attached information from my client to see whether there were any other alternatives than to lop the tree.

28 Vicarage Road Henley-on-thames RG9 1HJ
T1: Birch: Twin stemmed Birch with a crown break a couple of feet above ground level. This tree has had cobra bracing installed and has previously had a crown reduction undertaken due to the applicants concerns over its safety with its close proximity to their own and neighbouring properties and the high volume of pedestrians who walk past the house particularly during the school pick up and drop off timings. The applicant wishes to reduce the height of the tree by 4 metres, to a point just above the previous pruning points and the lateral branches by up to 1 metre. T2, T3 and T4: Birch: Applicant wishes to carry out a 2m crown reduction of all 3 trees. These trees were planted by the applicant on the basis that they would be maintained as small trees owing to the size of space in this area of the garden and the proximity of buildings.

7 Vicarage Road Henley-on-thames RG9 1HF
There are two trees in the front garden Permission is requested to fell both trees. Tree 1 = Weeping Birch Tree Tree 2 = Maple Tree Weeping Birch (Tree 1) This has become too large for the site, the roots are lifting the paving around it, making it a trip hazard. Roots have also entered the nearby drains, causing problems. Permission is sought to fell the tree, to make safe access to the property and to make space on the driveway for off street parking. (There is a nearby primary school, and parking can be a challenge.) Maple (Tree 2) This tree has also become too big for its location, which is very close to the boundary of No. 5 and No. 7 Vicarage Rd, causing lifting of the paving around it. It is also very close to both houses. Permission is sought to fell this tree.
