Proposal

Tree No. 29 - G4 - Cedar of Lebanon - reduce branch which originates at 8m on N side of trunk by approx. 2m so that it is 8.8m from edge of trunk this will leave wounds of no greater than 50mm diameter. Tree No.60 - G14 - Horse Chestnut - reduce foliage which extends S on lowest branch which originates at approx 3m on S side but extends to SW; reduce foliage inline with adjacent fence line or just beyond it depending on allowance for suitable secondary growth point. Tree No.82 - W1 - Beech - Remove stub at 10m. Tree No. 112 - W1 - Horse Chestnut - fell to ground level. Tree No. 139 - W1 - Sweet Chestnut - lateral branch at approx 10m up stem; reduce branch in to 2.5m from union with stem to a growth point this will take some weight out of the tree. Tree No. 150 - W1 - Sweet Chestnut - reduce height of crown to approx 15mm above ground level. Tree No. 167 - W1 - Sweet Chestnut - fell to ground level. Tree No. 216 - G33 - English Oak - crown lift to 5m above ground level on east side above drive. Tree No. 218 - G33 Sweet Chestnut - crown lift to 5m above ground level on east side above drive. Tree No. 279 - G27 - Beech - Reduce over extended branches that overhang adjacent driveway to W and NW in particular two branches orientated NW, one originates from main stem at 9m, second originates from 13m, both make up the main part of canopy in NW direction, should be reduced by approx 3m in length; remaining crown on this side should be reduced to no closer than 6.5m from edge of trunk and over adjacent driveway. Tree No. 322 - G10 - Sweet Chestnut - reduce lowest branches which are below 5m back to edge of kerb to allow clearance; reduce branch which is touching adjacent tree back to approx 1m from edge of trunk; this wil lleave a sub-dominant branch which orginates at this point, approx 80mm diameter. Tree No. 345a - G35 - Sweet Chestnut - trim away from building. Tree No. 355 - G35 - English Oak - crown lift to 5m above ground level on south east side. Tree No. 449 - W3 - Sweet Chestnut - Fell at suitable level to produce a pollard. Tree No. 456 - W3 - Sweet Chestnut - Crown clean. Tree No. 464 - W3 - Sweet Chestnut - fell to ground level. Tree No. 479 - W3 - Common lime - reduce limb with tight included bark fork. Tree No. 624 - W1 - Pin oak - fell to ground level. Tree No. 705 - W1 - Yew - remove specific branch 0.5m above ground level to the south east. Tree No. 707 - G8 - Horse Chestnut - remove two lower branches on southern side to clear space for walnut tree no. 614. Tree No. 729 - G30 - Norway Maple - coppice. T1 - Sweet Chestnut - 30% canopy reduction. Reason for works - the tre is located within very close proximity to the property, the canopy is also heavily weighted towards buildings. T2 - Oak - reduce large scaffold limbs by 2m, in order to prevent breakout over buildings. T3 - Beech - cut back beech overhanging shed and driveway by 2m. In addition, the owner of the property is experiencing vermin issues in the roof (squirrels). The pest control officer has suggested the tree works would reduce/prevent this issue. Peak tree to be lopped by 7m, neighboured tree to be reduced by 4m. The tree identified by EE Ltd is severely affecting the transmission of telecoms site 93310. This EE Ltd site forms part of the Emergency Services Network which is vital for police, ambulance and rescue communication etc for the surrounding area. I have sought the attached information from my client to see whether there were any other alternatives than to lop the tree.

We wish to remove the remaining trees in G24 and replant with a new group of trees, preferably oak. The number of trees in this group has been steadily declining since the feb 1991 gale. There are now just 5 remaining, the most recent gale casualties being just before midnight 23-12-13, landing across the driveway and destroying fencing on both sides of the driveway. The group of trees was originally planted in a circle and the remaining 3 beech trees in this group have brances only on one side making them particularly vulnerable to high winds. The larger horse chestnut tree was very close to one the beeches that fell last year and so it's roots have been bedly damaged and are still exposed; hence why our arborist has adviced that this tree should also be felled. This leaves just one small chestnut tree. Ideally we would like to maintain the parklandaspect of the field and replant a new circle of 12 oakes in the same area. We beleive the new trees would stand a better chance of developing properly if they were not competing unevenly with this one remaining chesnut. Hence we ask permission to fell the entire group of 5 trees at this time. Stumps would beground out ready for re planting. G24 A group consisting of 5 Beech, 2 Horse chestnut Spec: S15 Fell tree to ground level. Reason: R1 Sound arboricultural management Reason: R2 To ensure future compatibility with site, surroundings and usage Reason: R3 Limited safe useful life expectancy Reason: R4 To address potential hazard Reason: R6 Poor health, structural condition of form (delete as appropriate)

Ash (T2 of TPO 09/2019) - Reduce back crown over single storey block D4 by a maximum of 4m at its widest point (work mainly relates to over extended limbs over roof). Reduce back low branches over the roof to create 3m clearance. Cutback branches from front of the adjacent building (D6) to create 2-3m clearance. To help balance the crown, reduce remaining crown by approx. 2m. To avoid altering the balance of the tree as a whole, the crown of the tree should be reduced in proportion to its original shape. All pruning cuts must be made at branch junctions, leaving sufficient live growth to maintain or enhance crown form.
