303 (G1) Leylandii x 2 - maintain size/shape by trimming back sides up to 1m. Leylandii (behind Grundon Bins/smoking shelter) - maintain size - either reduce to 10-12' or reduce to 20' and trim sides by 1m. Elm - by Argon shed - Fell. 321 (G2) Oak - Remove suckers on trunk to crown break and cut back from building to give 1-2m clearance. 325 (G2) (Tulip Tree) - Crown lift to 4.5m above ground level. Leylandii - behind gas compound E - Fell & replace or reduce by 50% subject to access through adjacent field. 333 (G3) Lime - Remove major deadwood over 50mm in dia. or 1m in length. 425 (G4) Pine - Remove 3 x dead branches. 424 (G4) Pine - Remove major deadwood. 343 (T1) Monkey Puzzle - Remove deadwood as accessible using 15m MEWP (Mobile Elevated Work Platform) 344 (T2) Sweet Gum - crown reduce by 2-3m using 23m MEWP. 390 (G6) Sycamore - Sever ivy. 448 (G8) Oak - Sever ivy and remove dead limbs. 452 (T7) Cedar - Remove deadwood and hanging branch, shorten extended laterals by 3m using 15m MEWP. 453 (T8) Cedar - Remove dead wood to leave tidy. 437 (T12) Squoia - Remove dead limb. Next to 403 Yew - Sorbus - fell. Frontage - Laurels & Yew - cut back to edge of fence rather than road, to give a few years annual cutting back before reducing back is required again. Includes traffic control. Rectangle Area - Laurels - Phase a regeneration of Laurel by removing 1/3 growth of laterals and edge trees to fence height (field side 1st year), then remove (neighbours side 2nd year) then take out vertical stems to coppice points in 3rd year. This should produce fresh new growth which can be clipped back annually thereafter.

1 x Lime - radial growth selectivley reduced by 1.5-2.5m to the south east and the coastal redwood will require a radial spread reduction of 1.5-2.5m to the south, pruning works to be kept at a minimum to allow crane to install slightly wider nitrogen tank than existing and avoiding damage to these trees 4 x coastal redwood- remove dead dying and diseased wood, thin out excessive density , congestion and crossing branches to leave a lightly aerated and well formed canopy. climbers to aerial inspect for defects with any result being photographed G1 The group consisting of 1 Lawson Cypress, 4 Leyland Cypress, 1 Smooth Cypress, 1 Sycamore Spec: S2 Thin crown by a maximum of 10 % retaining an even density of foliage throughout a well-spaced and ba Spec: S3 Remove deadwood. G2 - Scots Pine (See Picus Test) - A notable historic tree with compromised structural integrity. Carry out resistograph testing to ensure accuracy of Picus test. In addition to the compromised structure at base. Furthermore, buttress tension roots are decayed and considered to be unable to provide necessary tensile strength for stability (girdled roots present, also). Numerous caviites are present; considered progressive, particularly, the cavity at point of origin on heavy sub stem to south west. The tree was condemned in 2006 by previous tree safety audit by another party. The area in and around the tree is classified as of high use and subsequently of a high target. South westerly winds present a scenario of collapse over the building, should such a catastrophic situation occur. Recommendation is subsequently to fell on safety grounds. However we aim to consult with SODC as to consideration of Veteranising the tree. Turkey Oak - (see Picus test). Structural condition beyond safe retention. Proximity to area of continuous use, buildings including extensive gases infrastructure including volatile for laboratory use. Fell and replant with Quercus subra heavy standard. Austrian Pine - (see Picus test). More Resistograph testing required submit report. G5 - Copper Beech (see Picus test). Extensive, dramatic lean to North East. Some basal compromise, however adequate residual wood present to mitigate. Presence of suficient tension roots. Install mulch ring to keep grass cutting machinery away from susceptible surface radial roots (5m diameter). Prune back lateral spread to North East by 2-2.5m keeping pruning wounds below 50mm in diameter. Thin areas of outer canopy by 5%. G6 - Copper Beech with extensive basal decay. However, some adequate adaptive wood present and sufficient buttress formation. Reduce canopy by 2m overall.

T1 - Copper Beech - Reduce branches by approximately 2 metres focusing mainly on lateral branches rather than the top. Lift canopy to provide statutory clearance over the road and clear from service cables. T2 - Tulip Tree - Reduce by approximately 3 metres to restore balance within the crown due to previous limb failure leaving the tree unbalanced. T3 - Horse Chestnut - Reduce by approximately 3 to 4 metres, leaving a natural flowing crown outline and remove major deadwood. T4 - To fell and remove 1 x Yew tree and install eco plugs to prevent re-growth.

T1 Copper Beech. Low canopy over road and footpath. To raise canopy to statutory clearances, (5.2m over road, 2.5m over footpath). To remove deadwood greater than 60mm over road and footpath, for safety purposes, minimising any chance for larger falling deadwood in windy conditions.

Ash (T2 of TPO 09/2019) - Reduce back crown over single storey block D4 by a maximum of 4m at its widest point (work mainly relates to over extended limbs over roof). Reduce back low branches over the roof to create 3m clearance. Cutback branches from front of the adjacent building (D6) to create 2-3m clearance. To help balance the crown, reduce remaining crown by approx. 2m. To avoid altering the balance of the tree as a whole, the crown of the tree should be reduced in proportion to its original shape. All pruning cuts must be made at branch junctions, leaving sufficient live growth to maintain or enhance crown form.
