Weeping Ash on front lawn. Much of crown is dead with less than 10 live branches/growth points. Circumferential crack in one of the two main components at approx 3m height. Adventitious shoot growth from below point of graft (approx 2m above ground level) is now reaching 8m or more in height. This growth is Common Ash rather than Weeping Ash as it's from the grafted rootstock. Reduce height of Weeping Ash down to approx 5m height to retain habitat value the various cavities below this point provide. Remove all 'reverted' growth arising from below point of graft. This to retain the character of the Weeping Ash form while allowing a new, future replacement tree to be planted and established. Photographs and more detailed description of condition in email correspondence to RBC Arboricultural Officer due to some priority safety based works being undertaken under a 5 Day Notice. 2 No Holly to rear of residential property. Both have twigs and foliage currently rubbing the guttering and roof of the building. Crown lift and tip back north west side of crown as necessary to achieve 1.5 - 2m clearance from fabric of building.
