Refused Reigate and Banstead 24/01950/TPO Tree Preservation Order

Works: Trees

Refused. Only the applicant can appeal, within the statutory time limit, and a revised scheme can be submitted instead.

Proposal

T1 - Beech Action - n/a. T2 - Scots Pine Action - n/a. T3 - Beech Action - n/a. T4 - Scots Pine (stump) Action - Fell. T5 - Scots Pine Action - Action - Fell Photo b. T6 - Beech Action - n/a. T7 - Beech Action - Action - Fell Photo a. T8 - Scots Pine Action - n/a. T9 - Scots Pine Action - n/a. T10 - Scots Pine - Action - Fell Photo a. Reason - Bulk of trees is excessive considering close proximity to well stocked mixed woodland belt. Tree T10 is leaning away from main group. Tree T4 is high stump with no value. Tree T7 is removed to make way for adjacent tree T6 to flourish with n hindrance. Tree T5 is too overpowering in its close proximity to the house. Removal of these trees will have no overall effect from Harpurs and the tree stock will still be a beneficial impact in the local tree amenity scene.
