Still open. Anyone can comment while the consultation period runs, and comments go to the council rather than to us.
Proposal
Ash- 1.5 metres of overhang (branch) to be cut back. Aspen - 1.7 metres of an overhanging branch to be cut back. Trees are directly behind garden and severely overhanging so require pruning. Debris from the trees is damaging our furniture and the branches are strangling our shrubs/trees.

T1 and T2 Conifers - 2 meter reduction. Low lying vegetation to be removed leaving healthy trees. Reason for reduction - to re balance the tree, also as it's on a slop and all weight is toward the house, limbs over neighbours garden. Add some light to small back garden. Hasn't been done since the property was built. Needs to be part of ongoing maintenance plan.

Beech tree- Reduce up to 2m laterally all around the crown including over the road. Crown lift up to 5m. Reduce long branched rowing over the road balance as required. The works are necessary to enhance the appearance of the tree, to balance the crown and to avoid high sided vehicles damaging the tree.

T6 - Oak - To reduce Oak tree located in the front garden (furthest left) overhanging the road by 3.0-4.0m as outline in internal tree assessment report option 1. All branches will be pruned to appropriate growth points. The tree has Sulpher fungus which is the reason for having the tree report carried out. T5 - Oak - To reduce Oak tree located in the front garden (middle Oak) by 2.0m. All branches will be pruned to appropriate growth points. All works are carried out to BS 3998: 2010 Tree work recommendations. A well balanced shape must be maintained. To reduce the risk of limb failure over the road.

T1- 2 meter reduction. As the tree is within a meter of property. Over high traffic areas and is very dense from previous work on the tree. Could do with a crown clean. T2 - Pine/Fir to be crown lifted 4 lowest limbs which would be 3.5 meter crown lift from base. Remaining tree reduced 30% so selectively 1.5 meter for most but there are a few limbs that are slightly longer which would need more like 2 meter reduction to bring it into a beautiful healthy shape.
