The long term future of the tree is questionable due to its condition. The tree poses a clear health and safety issue to the home owner and his children and is causing anxiety around their safe use of the rear garden.

The long term future of both tree???s is questionable due to the condition of the trees and where they are situated. Honey fungus is an aggressive wood decaying fungal pathogen,causing decay in the trees root system which can cause instability and tree failure. There is a significant risk to both people and property should this tree fail

See SJA stw for works to be carried out. Common lime no. 2 - Tree shows significantly impaired physiology within northern crown extent. Large structural limbs extending north overhang adjacent properties and are predominantly dead. Scots pine no. 7 - Specimen shows multiple cavities up to 200mm in diameter with visible decay extending into the trunk. Upper canopy is entirely offset from the lower trunk, increasing risk of failure. Sycamore no. 23 - Trunk has been vandalised. Specimen shows sparse foliation.
