Rear Garden. T4 - Sweet Chestnut. Crown reduce by up to 4 metres in height and 2 metres in crown width. The subject tree has a large basal cavity on the back side of the tree and requires a heavy crown reduction to reduce the sail affect and lower the risk of stem failure. Its proximity to the property is causing anxiety and apprehension to the occupiers. The proposed works would not reduce the amenity value of the tree and will allow sustainable tree management in the long term

See SJA stw for works to be carried out. Common lime no. 2 - Tree shows significantly impaired physiology within northern crown extent. Large structural limbs extending north overhang adjacent properties and are predominantly dead. Scots pine no. 7 - Specimen shows multiple cavities up to 200mm in diameter with visible decay extending into the trunk. Upper canopy is entirely offset from the lower trunk, increasing risk of failure. Sycamore no. 23 - Trunk has been vandalised. Specimen shows sparse foliation.
