Earthworks within the compound area for the headhouse building and associated hardstanding area, regrading and extension of existing access road, gabion walls for ecological enhancement with a slight retaining function, a flood defence wall with a slight retaining function, a retaining wall on the northeast site boundary, and retaining walls adjacent to the access stairs on the embankment.
