[T1] BEECH, COPPER (Fagus sylvatica f. purpurea) - Crown reduction of approximately 3 metres (not exceeding 20-25% of the live crown), retaining the natural habit and appearance of the beech. - Crown clean any dead, dying, damaged, crossing or otherwise compromised branch-wood. [T2] BEECH, COPPER (Fagus sylvatica f. purpurea) - Crown reduction of approximately 3 metres (not exceeding 20-25% of the live crown), retaining the natural habit and appearance of the beech. - Crown clean any dead, dying, damaged, crossing or otherwise compromised branch-wood. - Providing 3.0m clearance from client's permanent buildings and rooflines. The objective is to reduce end-weight on extended lateral limbs, lessen wind loading, improve structural balance and establish the tree on an appropriate long-term cyclical management regime. A secondary benefit will be a modest increase in daylight to the adjacent dwelling and garden whilst retaining the tree as a prominent landscape feature. All works will be undertaken in accordance with BS3998:2010 Tree Work - Recommendations.

1. Front garden - a very large completely dead silver birch needs removing. 2. Back garden - a partial broken pine tree which has partly fallen on the roof of an out building needs removal and then dead branches need trimming. 3. Back garden - we wish to fell and removed the very large row of overgrown leylandii that form an L shape behind the pool building and to the right of the pool building. they are tall, stretched and multi-stemmed. they are beginning to split out during high winds. They totally dominate the garden aesthetically and block the sky. we wish to replant with a more appropriate boundary hedge and one or two small ornamental trees. The young leyandii to the rear of the garden and to the left of the gate we wish to reduce in height by 40% to just above the height of the archway. 4. Back garden - the beech trees to the rear of the house on the left neighboring 602, need a gentle crown raise to prevent damage to the houses gutters and balcony and let some light get to the lawn. Only the six lowest dangly branches.

Tree Code: Sgl/106736 Species: Beech (Fagus sylvatica) TPO: TPO269 (T10) Works Sectionally fell and remove the Beech tree to ground level. Remove all timber, branches and arising debris from site. Grind out or otherwise remove the stump where practicable, or leave at ground level as directed by the client. Reason for Works The tree is exhibiting significant structural defects and decay, including: Evidence of substantial basal decay associated with fungal activity (Pholiota spp.). Hollow sounding stem indicating internal decay. Two very large historic tear-out wounds, including one approximately 5 metres above ground level. Major limb loss and loss of large branches. Abnormal buttressing and trunk form. Stem decay below the crown break. These defects indicate a significant decline in structural integrity and an increased risk of partial or whole-tree failure. Summary 1 × Beech (Fagus sylvatica) Sectional dismantling and removal of the entire tree due to advanced structural defects and decay.
