Planning application

Hill Cottage Tintern Road Barbadoes Hill Tintern NP16 6ST

Granted Monmouthshire DM/2026/00701

Permission granted. Work must normally begin within five years of the decision or the permission lapses.

Proposal

This unlisted cottage needs reroofing as it currently leaks and the current concrete tiles are cracked and the cement attached is broken and missing. We wish to replace the roof removing and reinstalling the solar panels. Reroofing with a composite slate more in keeping with the original roofing. We wish to install 2 skylights using low emissivity (Low E) materials reducing light overspill by 62-72% as we are in a dark skies area.
