  T1 Sweet Chestnut. Location in rear garden 8.5m from house. Retain Crown Height - first Branch at 5m to south. Current crown spread to be reduced from 16M to 8M by reducing lower limbs to retain a minimum of 4m in each direction. Higher major limbs to a minimum of 3m to maintain shape and overlap to neighbouring Oak and Silver Birch (not residing in this property) Single lower crown branch to North to be removed to avoid contact with property and risk to squirrel infestation to loft. (see phot img_5566). Remaining northerly directed limbs which are 0.4M above the removed branch to be retained but reduced to 4M in line with the spread reduction.   T1. Oak - Reduce height and radial spread by 2m. Current height 16m leaving at 14m. Current radius 9m leaving at 7m. The tree recent hard a large limb failure which subsequently hit and ripped out a further two large limbs which fell into the garage and on top of the adjacent garage. The loss of these branches has left a large hole in the canopy. It looks as though the tree has recently been crown thinned.
