Works: Trees
Permission granted. Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses.
Proposal
T1 Beech - To remove lowest limb towards the neighbouring property, to reduce the lopsided and excessive weight of the canopy in that direction. To lessen the risk of limb tree failure. Remove epicormic growth from the stem up to the height of the lowest limb to allow more light beneath the canopy. T2 Beech - To remove the lowest 3 branches which are overhanging the neighbouring property and the area where the cars are parked T3 - T7 Beech - To remove the epicormic growth from the stems to a height of 6m to allow for easier high vehicle access past the trees and increase the light beneath the canopies. T8 and T9 Beech - To remove the epicormic growth to 6m as above, to allow more light beneath the trees

T1 Beech: Fell. T2, T3 Beech: Crown lift to 5m, maximum pruning cuts of 40mm to remove regrowth. T4, T6, T7 Sycamore: Crown lift to 5m, to remove regrowth. T5 Beech: Lateral reduction to the red line shown in the attached photo, maximum pruning cuts of 70mm. Large wound at the rear of the trunk, rot set in. This lateral reduction of the extended canopy would take some pressure off this weakness, push the branches back into the tree line and benefit the lawn underneath.

There is only one large tree in my garden. I will get a tree surgeon to do the works rather than doing it myself. It is not a main branch, just a thin one that has sagged/growing downwards and will soon be at head height. I can provide photos of the tree and the branch in question.
