1 Holly Way Killingbeck Leeds LS14 6NF
Proposal
T1 Horse Chestnut: Tree has recently dropped a large limb over the footpath, residents are now worried that the tree may fail again due to the large exposed wound which now looks weaker with the loss of cambium and heart wood. proposing we are to reduce limb back to failure point to reduce the risk of future problems.

About trees applications
How this application type works
Tree applications cover work to protected trees: those under a tree preservation order need consent for pruning or felling, and trees in a conservation area need six weeks written notice before work starts. The council assesses the amenity value of the tree and can refuse consent, approve it with conditions, or in conservation areas make a preservation order in response.
