T1-T2 Sycamore trees to fell on Almshouse Hill, which sits on a limestone shelf and has developed a damaging relationship with the wall that sits on the plot. The tree is identified on the accompanying drawing 007 which includes photographs. At the time of the arborist's visit, the tree was only 40% in leaf due to droughting (July 2025). A vist in 2026 confirmed the poor condition. The recommendation from the arborist is that the tree will not grow safely to maturity given the thin soil it sits on, and as it is on a well-used thoroughfare, removal is recommended. Noted that trees on an adjacent site were approved for removal for similar reasons.
