Dover House Cormont Road London Lambeth SE5 9RE

Withdrawn Lambeth 25/03983/TCA Approval for works to trees in CA

Works: Trees

Withdrawn before a decision, so it carries no planning weight. A revised scheme can be submitted at any time.

Proposal

T1 London Plane: Reduce branches away from the property footprint by 2-3m to clear the property and mitigate issues associated with branches overhanging the property and improve light, reduce the remainder by 2-3m to maintain shape and maintain tree at current dimensions, mitigate root activity as not yet reached full grown size or potential, thin remainder by 10% T2 London Plane: Reduce branches away from the property footprint by 2-3m to clear the property and mitigate issues associated with branches overhanging the property and improve light, reduce the remainder by 2-3m to maintain shape and maintain tree at current dimensions, mitigate root activity as not yet reached full grown size or potential, thin remainder by 10% Council Note: Following investigation, it has been confirmed that the London Plane trees subject of this notification are protected by Tree Preservation Order No. 528 (2025), made on 22 December 2025. The section 211 Conservation Area notification does not state that the trees are subject to a Tree Preservation Order. As the trees are protected, section 211 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 does not apply. This notification has therefore been withdrawn by the Council. Any proposed works to the trees must be submitted as a Tree Preservation Order application and determined in accordance with the Town and Country Planning (Tree Preservation) (England) Regulations 2012.
