T2: Conifer (Leyland Cypress): Approximately 10.00m: Fell to as near to ground level as is practicable. This tree has a pronounced lean toward neighbouring building. Unstable/ Control potential hazard. T3: Bay: Approximately 8.00m: Reduce height by approximately 2.00m-2.25m. Thin lateral face by up to 1.20m as is practicable whilst maintaining a suitable amount of furnishing growth. T4: Mature Apple: Approximately 7.00m: Right hand boundary: Reduce crown by approximately 1.30m to produce and promote a healthy balanced crown structure. Thin crown density by 20%. T5: Cherry: Approximately 4.00m: This tree has advanced crown dieback. Remove larger dead branches. Retain single live branch and main stem. T6: Japanese Maple: Approximately 7.00m: Tip prune branches growing towards the house by up to 1.00m to provide sufficient clearance of the building. T1 Weeping Crab-Apple in front garden - remove. A horticulturalist has assessed the tree and found it to be in poor health, citing: 1. Canker: Fungal infection affecting the branches. 2. Fungal Infection at Base: A second fungal issue spreading at the base of the trunk. 3. Mealybug Infestation: Evidence of significant insect damage. We propose to replace the tree with a Rowan tree (Sorbus aucuparia), a native species known for its suitability in similar settings.

Dawn Redwood. Tree T1 on Sketch Plan. Arboriculturist Conclusion "Given the presence of cracks in the wall of adjacent buildings, and the close proximity of the tree to the buildings, it is recommended that T1 is removed to ground level." Engineer's Conclusion "the best course of action to avoid any further movement on the existing building would be to remove the existing tree and underpin the existing foundation"

Pembury House Nursery, Lansdowne Road, Tottenham, London, N17 9XE

Ginkgo (T1) - fell. Reason: this is a female tree, that drops fruit all over the nursery playground. The children try to eat them, it gets into their clothes, shoes, hands, and all over the class room, creating an extremely unpleasant environment for the children and staff. Replant with another deciduous tree with similar potential size canopy (eg. Norway maple) Sycamore (T2) - Reduce the height of the tree by 4m. Reduce lateral branches in line with this (up to 2.5m). Reason: There is some decay at the base of the tree on the east side, spanning 40% of the circumference of the tree. The bark is flaking from ground level up to 1.5m, and use of the sounding mallet indicates the dysfunctional wood extends at least to the same height. The tree has a full crown, but has had selective branch length reductions in the past. The crown overhangs the nursery playground and neighbouring parking area. Lime x2 (T10 & T11) - Crown raise to 4m, removing epicormic growth. Reason: to remove the branches that touch the shelter to prevent damage.
