Awaiting decision Forest of Dean P1107/26/TCA Trees

Works: Trees

Still open. Anyone can comment while the consultation period runs, and comments go to the council rather than to us.

Proposal

Undertake the following work to trees on the eastern boundary of the property. Fell 2x Ash trees (1 on sketch plan) which have died. Reduce 1x Hazel (No. 2) in height to 75cm as it is interfering with overhead telephone cables. Fell 1x Ash (No.3) which is interfering with overhead telephone cables and may be diseased. Reduce 1x Holly (No.4) and 1x Laurel (No. 5) in height to 75cm so that they will regrow as bushes in the hedge. Fell 1x Conifer (No. 6) as it is a large tree and one of a cluster which is very overcrowded. All these trees are also casting excessive shade onto neighbouring property of Rookery Cottage.
