The Old Rectory Church Lane Hewelsfield Lydney Gloucestershire GL15 6UH
Works: Trees
Permission granted. Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses.
Proposal
Reduce crown of Yew tree (T1) by 1.5 metres on all sides due to excessive shading and branches encroaching on roof. Pollard Eucalyptus (T2) to previous pollarding points. Fell Dawn Redwood (T3) due to proximity to house, prevailing winds and a defect low on the trunk. Remove large lower limb on east side of Acer (T4) to improve balance of tree and reduce shading. Fell Ash (T5) due to presence of Ash Dieback disease. Selective removal of lower branches from Norway Spruce (T6) to reduce shading on adjacent young Oak tree. Selectively prune various species of young trees along roadside boundary (G1) to provide adequate clearance with adjacent utility cables. Fell group of Cypress trees (G2) with suspected weaknesses for safety reasons.
