1 no. Maple (T1)- Fell and replace with one of the proposed selections. Reason: Tree is of low amenity value, with significant lean over neighbouring electric substation, public footpath and highway. Tree has 2 significant limbs - one of which has smaller limbs now touching neighbouring building and risks causing damage.

1no. Silver Birch (T1) - Dismantle the to ground level. Replant with new Silver Birch as like-for-like replacement. Tree is in decline and is shedding significant deadwood from canopy. Main stem has an old major pruning/wound point with significant dysfunction and deterioration around the union. Remaining upright stem originates above this compromised area, creating potential structural weak point. The pronounced change in stem direction also places additional mechanical loading and leverage on weakened section, particularly during high winds.

    11 VALLEY ROAD, CHANDLER'S FORD, EASTLEIGH, SO53 1GQ

1 No. Oak (297-E) - Remove growth from trunk to height 3m. Growth consists of five lateral branches all from the south west side of the Oak's trunk. This will rebalance the oak's previous shape, restore its historical crown height (~5m from ground level), increase light and prevent low branch obstruction.
