1no. Oak (T1) - Reduce by 3-4m in height, back to suitable growth points. Reduce lateral branches by 2.5-3m, back to suitable growth points to maintain size and canopy spread. Oak has a history of limb failure, giving rise to concern over the potential for future failure, particularly due to its proximity to the property. A selective internal crown reduction is proposed as a precautionary measure to reduce loading on scaffold limbs and help mitigate the risk of further limb failure, whilst retaining the tree’s form and amenity value.
