Proposal
(i) Change of use from Office, retail, restaurant and private medical (Use Class E) to flexible Retail and Cultural (Use Class E(a)/(b)/(c) and/or Use Class F1) at ground floor and lower ground floor level, and Hotel (Use Class C1) with ancillary bar, cafe and restaurant on part ground, lower ground, basement and upper floors (285 rooms) at 15-17 Eldon Street and 6 Broad Street Place; (ii) Works at 15-17 Eldon Street: demolition of 5th floor level and a replacement 5th floor level, additional 6th, 7th, and 8th floor levels, and rear partial infill extension from second to fourth floors, to provide hotel accommodation; (iii) Works at 6 Broad Street Place: rear partial infill extension from first to fifth floors, removal of existing rooftop plant enclosure and erection of one storey roof extension at seventh floor; (iv) All other works: Creation of new shopfronts and new hotel entrance at ground floor level; Installation of plant equipment, louvred enclosures, stair enclosure, green roof and solar photovoltaic panels at roof level; Provision of cycle parking spaces and shower/changing facilities at basement levels; Resurfacing and refurbishment of passageway; Provision of ancillary hotel facilities at basement level; and other associated works.
