Proposed structural repairs and improvement works to an existing Sluice sited in between the River Aire and Fairburn Ings on behalf of the Environment Agency and the formation of an associated temporary site compound area, located off Cut Road. Proposed temporary use (duration of the proposed maintenance works of the sluice gates, approximately 80 days) of a field that has access with Cut Road for material and plant storage and for one mobile structure consisting of 20 self contained welfare units for workers. Proposed temporary use (28 days) of a field that has access with the A1246 as a helicopter pick up and drop off area (approximately 6 days) for the removal and dismantling of the existing sluice gates and the delivery of the new sluice gates, together with two mobile structures each with 20 self contained welfare units for workers and an area for staff and visitor parking. Proposed erection of 2m high Heras fencing and access gates to both sites. Proposed working hours for both sites - 07:30 to 17:30 Monday to Friday with 07:30 to 13:30 Saturday, if required.
