T1 - Oak - Veteran Tree on top of sandstone cliff/embankment - Reduce by 50% - This is an over mature tree with significant defects and cavities, which is in a difficult location at the top of a steep bank, with no access for a MEWP. We would recommend removing a large proportion of the crown structure whilst it is still safe to do so as waiting for the tree to deteriorate further may increase the risk factor of carrying out the work. Whilst it is recognised that under normal circumstances such a heavy reduction would not be good practice, given the location and characteristics of this tree it may be prudent to be quite heavy with it now to reduce possible future risks. G1 - Mixed Group - Smaller trees on top of bank - Reduce height by up to 30%
