2/2/26 (W9) Weeping Willow at the front of 17 Corfton Drive. This tree has been assessed by Clifford Webb & he had initially given permission to cut it down (email 22/05/2023). However, after getting a price to have it removed I thought I would check again as a couple of years had passed. This time Clifton changed his mind, saying that it came under the description of broad leafed tree (but this does not specify a weeping willow as being on a TPO). I would like to remove the tree in their entirety for the following reasons: -It is leaning over to the neighbours drive. -There is a main sewer that runs along our drives within a few meters of the tree. Weeping willows search out water and there is a danger of the roots damaging the sewer & causing a leak which could damage the foundations of my property. -The leaves are a nuisance I have to clear up most weekends. -The tree stops natural light entering my property. - It is expensive to have tree trimmed every few years. Please see sketch plan attached to this application, where it shows the location of the trees and main sewer pipes. May I also mention the Copper Beach tree on the back left of my back garden, I would also like to remove it. It is very tall & is tangled with the neighbours silver birch. It also stops sunlight into my garden. As far as I know there are no restrictions on this tree. Please reconsider your decision for the reasons I have mentioned. Regards Kulvinder Ram

T5201 - Oak - Reduce/pollard the crown to approx 6m, retaining the lower stem as standing deadwood habitat as appropriate - Decay at base on SE side. Sounding hammer indicated significant decay. Ganoderma bracket present, tree previously pollarded T5204 - Silver Birch - Fell tree - Tree leaning over residential garden T5205 - Oak - Reduce/pollard crown to approx 8m to reduce end-weight and loading towards the adjacent residential gardens - Cavity at 6m on west side, canopy leaning over gardens T5206 - Oak - Reduce/pollard crown to approx 8m - Crown extends over adjacent residential gardens following the failure/removal of an adjacent tree Remove several Holly trees overhanging neighbouring gardens down as close to ground level as practicably possible. H1/H2/H3 The holly trees require removal to facilitate safe and efficient implementation of the approved oak tree works and future boundary maintenance. Owing to their boundary location, retention would create ongoing management and access constraints for adjoining landowners. Their contribution to the character and appearance of the conservation area is limited, and their removal is not considered detrimental to local amenity.

06/00074/TPO, Halecroft Avenue, Wednesfield, Tree Preservation Order 1997 [02/2/445] (T1) Specification of Proposed Works Prune the protected tree to remove and/or selectively reduce only those branches that are currently overhanging and contacting, or are likely to come into contact with, the roof and guttering of the building. In addition, selectively prune branches around the overhead telephone/broadband cable supplying the cadet centre, removing only those branches that are currently contacting the cable or are sufficiently close that they are likely to interfere with, place pressure on, or damage the cable. The pruning is to be carried out sympathetically and to the minimum extent necessary to provide adequate clearance from the roof, guttering and telecommunications cable, while retaining the natural form, health and structural integrity of the tree. No unnecessary or excessive crown reduction is proposed. All arisings, branches and other tree waste generated by the works are to be removed from site on completion, leaving the area clean and tidy.
