No reduction in the overall height of the tree is sought. All cuts to be made at a natural branch union or node, in full compliance with BS 3998:2010. The specific cut points are indicated by red markers on the photograph at Section 7 (Photo 1 / IMG_0584). Four branch junctions are marked at approximately 5 to 8 metres above ground level, where lateral branches cross the boundary and bear over the roof. Estimated removal approximately 20 to 25% of the leaf area on the south-western lateral aspect only. The remainder of the crown the majority of the tree will be entirely undisturbed. (Works subject to TPO 626/0139/1970).
