Previous applications have permitted cuts of <30mm: this is insufficient to abate the nuisance that this tree is causing, whilst the proscriptive works i've suggested can fall well within the phenological guidance of BS3998:2010. The reduction must be made to the height of the upper canopy, with the shoulder blended in with the overall height to maintain the visual amenity of the tree when viewed from the road.
