Discharge of condition 3 of planning application 22/00426/LIS Mortar - We propose to use Morestead heritage mortar from The Lime Centre. This will be in NHL 3.5 and matches both the existing older mortar and the more recently repointed mortar. The contractor will be instructed to make the pointing joints flush to the brickwork, as illustrated in the diagrams provided by the Historic Environment Officer. Plaster - We propose to use a traditional non-hyrdaulic putty, also supplied by the Lime Centre. - We note that the external work should match the existing brickwork as closely as possible. We intend to reuse the existing bricks to the extent possible to ensure consistency of materials and to replicate the brickwork pattern in the arch above the window.
