The process from here
Permission has been granted, usually subject to conditions listed on the decision notice, some of which must be discharged before work starts. The decision notice on the council portal sets out exactly what was approved.
Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses. Neighbours cannot appeal a grant; challenging one means judicial review of how the decision was made, within tight time limits.
About householder applications
How this application type works
Householder applications cover work to an existing house and its garden: extensions, loft and garage conversions, porches, outbuildings and similar alterations within the boundary of the home. They cannot be used to create a separate dwelling or change what the building is used for. Councils aim to decide them within eight weeks, and immediate neighbours are usually notified and given a chance to comment.

Leyandii. See previous comments on intended action please. Cutting back 1-2 metres from my boundary line overhang of my outside shed and garden. Overhang cutting back 1-3 metres from my boundary line over the back alley where our cars are parked, due to damage from falling dead branches and leaves, pigeon excrement and general danger of such overhang over cars. Also within feet of the Hope Church windows on their 1st and 2nd floor windows, a potential damage potential this winter. The Leyandii needs maintenance to cutting back 1-2 and 1-3 metres for safety reasons and for it's general maintenance, health care of the tree. DNS Tree Surgeons will carry out the work as professional company with expert knowledge and reputation. Thank you.
