Planning application

Franley Fold 53B Carter Road Kents Bank GRANGE-OVER-SANDS LA11 7AG

Granted Westmorland and Furness 2025/1921/TCA Tree in Conservation Area

Works: Trees

Permission granted. Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses.

Proposal

The proposed work is on a row of Hawthorn trees. The aim is to reduce the height and to give more of a hedge-like appearance. It has been explained to us about the importance of the crown of each tree and how this must be maintained. There are some small Hazel and Holly bushes that will be retained in between the Hawthorn to act as the lower part of the "hedge".
