Proposal

Demolition of the existing single-storey garden shed/outbuilding attached to the rear of the house; excavation to extend the lower ground floor further into the garden; a new upper ground floor extension opening onto a new terrace formed over the roof of the lower ground floor extension. Existing outrigger's monopitch roof removed and replaced with a flat roof; the outrigger is rendered. The later loft storage room removed in its entirety and the historic butterfly roof form reinstated. A new metal external stair and gate are installed from street level down to the lower ground floor lightwell. All existing single-glazed timber windows are replaced with double-glazed timber windows of matching design.
