Proposal
T390 - Prunus cerasifera: End weight reduction - reducing the heavy extended low limb to the east over the garden footpath and lawn by around 1 m, to reduce loading and leverage effect on bark included main stem union. Also lift the height of that branch to 2.5 m over the footpath. Final cuts to be made at suitable pruning points, leaving furnishing growth to minimise visual impact. T394 - Prunus cerasifera: End weight reduction - reducing the extended limb/ stem to the northeast by approximately 1.5 m to reduce extension loading on bark included basal stem union and minimise the potential for stem failure. Also, lift the low canopy of the same limb/ stem to 2.5 m over the footpath. T786 - Aesculus hippocastanum: End weight reduction - reducing the heavy extended limbs (with maturing regrowth in the lower and mid crown from previous reduction), by around 2 m to reduce loading and continue the previously established crown management. The reduction should taper out towards the top of the crown to meet the current top, centre of the crown. Final cuts to be made at suitable pruning points, leaving furnishing growth to minimise visual impact. T197 - Acer platanoides 'Crimson King': Lift low canopy, pedestrian clearance - to 2.5 m over public footpath and clear lamp column by 1 m. T198 - Laurocerasus lusitanica: Lift low canopy, pedestrian clearance - to 2.5 m over footpath. T367 - Acer palmatum: Lift low canopy, pedestrian clearance - lightly, selectively tip pruning the lowest branches overcthecfootpath only, using secateurs, to lift the canopy height to 2.5 m without disrupting the natural form of the tree. Platanus x hispanica: T774 - Lift low canopy, pedestrian clearance - to 3 m over garden footpath. T194 - Prune from adjacent structure - to clear lamp column by 1.5 m. T381 - Reduce crown by specified extent - Reducing the extended limbs over the road and parking to the north, west & northwest and over the garden to the northeast, east and south, in the lowe

T889 & T892 - Platanus x hispanica: Reduce crown by specified extent - At the request of GLM, in consideration of resident complaints and the cost of regular pruning work, and the crown imbalance from previous pruning, crown reduction has been recommended to the following specification. Reduce the crown height by 2.5 - 3 m and the lateral crown spread by 1 - 1.5 m to the southeast over the road, and the remaining crown spread by 2.5 - 3 m, to address the current crown imbalance and form a smaller crown framework that will accommodate regrowth within the previously agreed proportions overhanging the road, whilst allowing for the re-formation of a natural crown aesthetic. Final cuts should be made at suitable pruning points, leaving furnishing growth to minimise visual impact where possible.
